Scientific and technical information
The Scientific and Technical Information (STI) project officer at the CNRS Institute of Chemistry helps researchers and laboratories access chemistry research results and scientific and technical information in general such as publications, document resources, databases and so forth.
He takes part in group negotiations with universities for the purchase of access rights to journals, databases and books from publishers with peer reviewing such as the American Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Elsevier, etc.
He also jointly manages the "Chemistry" portal on BibCNRS with the Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (INIST).
In collaboration with the CNRS Scientific and Technical Information Department (DIST), he takes part in studies of contents and user practices to enhance accessibility and increase the document resources available for chemists.
